Marking the 55th anniversary of Heep Hong Society, the conference under the theme of the anniversary, “Growing Potential, Shining Tomorrow” will be organised at the Jockey Club Auditorium of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This conference aims at providing updated knowledge from overseas and mainland China experts on how to help and empower individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their families throughout the different life stages, from pre-school to school age, post-secondary and young adulthood. The experts from the United States and mainland China will deliver keynote speeches, followed by concurrent workshops on teaching strategies and evidence-based interventions, target to help students with SEN in mainstream schools and young adults in open employment. Fellow practitioners and parents are welcome to participate, and registration before November 16 will enjoy an early bird discount.
