Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Research & Development)

Established in 1963, Heep Hong Society has been a pioneer in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for individuals with diverse developmental needs. We are committed to enhancing lives through evidence-based programs, cutting-edge research, and community engagement.

 

Key responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management

  • Support the CEO in developing and executing the organization's vision and mission, policies, and strategic plans
  • Promote the organization and network with different stakeholders

2. Research & Development (R&D) Oversight

  • Drive professional teams to identify best practices, emerging trends, new training tools and innovative interventions for SEN support, ensuring the application of research results into practice
  • Foster partnerships with universities and research institutions to enhance the impact of programs

3. Information Technology (IT) Management

  • Leading the IT Department to drive digital transformation and AI-driven solutions
  • Coordinate various departments for pilot projects in improving the operational efficiency and user experience

4. Professional Development

  • Develop and implement plans for professional deveflopment, including qualification framework and continuous training development or professional staff 
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
Qualifications
  • Bachelor holder or above, preferably in Social Work, Social Science or Public Administration
  • Over 8 years in senior management position, experience in rehabilitative field and IT projects are an advantage
  • Strong planning, analytical, organization, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in business communication & presentation in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
